To ensure compliance, we monitor performance through scorecards of objective data collected from our plants. Scorecards are reviewed on a monthly basis, with performance issues noted and corrective action plans required from challenged suppliers.
This mastery of the supply and distribution channels has been key to our delivery of quality printed products that meet schedule and cost expectations. Currently, we manage the global utilization of over eight billion pounds of paper annually. By supplying paper—or working closely with customers on stock selection—we minimize broker, merchant, and mill costs.
